The Educated Grape is a dynamic wine education and consulting company created by wine industry veteran, George Staikos. We are devoted to enhancing the wine and food appreciation of passionate enthusiasts and growing the business of family-owned, hand-crafted wineries.

We have a passion for small, hand-crafted, family-owned wineries of amazing wines conveying a sense of place! We represent a selection of wineries and work to get their wines in front of more excited consumers.

wine education classes

The Educated Grape’s roots are in our education programs. Over the last several years, and since 2020 in particular, we have largely made the transition to interactive, virtual class series.

wine country experiences

Our newest, and already widely popular Wine Country Experiences! These are several-day trips to our country’s most beautiful winemaking regions. The perfect opportunity to explore wine country with other wine enthusiasts.
