Rhone Valley Revival!

While sometimes overshadowed by their famous wine regions to the north, the Rhone Valley has emerged with its signature rich, intense and spicy reds and textural, silky white wines made from the indigenous Marsanne and Rousanne grapes. Separated into two regions, North and South, each has its own signature style and grape varietals of focus. The North is almost exclusively Syrah (often blended with a touch of Viognier) making elegant, savory reds and the South home to robust, concentrated red that are blends, mainly produced from Grenache, Mourvedre, Cinsault and Syrah. This webinar is an eye opener and refresher to ensure these expressive wines are a part of your short list of wines to drink and collect.

Northern Italy’s Cool Climate Regions are What’s Hot!

Italy is perhaps the most passionate wine and food country in the world; each region known for distinctly different wines, foods and terroir. Northern Italy’s cooler climate regions are home to three of Italy’s premier wine growing regions, Piedmont, Veneto and Alto Adige. Alto Adige is home to the most amazingly vibrant white wines in Italy and Veneto is home to the most DOCG wines, most notably Amarone, Valpolicella and Prosecco. The majority of the Italian wine that I drink is from Northern Italy as I am so passionate about these lovely wines. I look forward to sharing these special wines with you in this webinar!
